Shamrock has a history of looking ahead.

After nearly two decades in the fluid power industry, Don O’Shaughnessy left Parker to found Shamrock Hose and Fittings, Inc. in a small warehouse near Cleveland’s Little Italy. In short order, Shamrock had established itself as a trusted distributor of Parker Fluid Connectors to OEMs, contractors and small businesses in the region.

In just five years, in fact, Shamrock had outgrown the original location and moved farther east, to Ivanhoe Road and kept growing. In 1987, Shamrock expanded with 5,000 sq. ft. of additional warehouse space, effectively doubling storage to accommodate large-bore industrial hose and customer demand.

Tim O’Shaughnessy, Don’s oldest son, joined the company in 1991, becoming president and owner of Shamrock by 1995. In 2015, the company took its expertise to Ashtabula County with a second location, to better serve the industrial markets there.

As of 2025, Shamrock has moved to a new, expanded location in Euclid at 24811 Rockwell Drive, positioning us to continue growing and serving our customers with even greater efficiency and convenience. This new facility enables us to offer even more space for our extensive inventory and to further improve our operations.

Today Shamrock is proud to inventory over 9000 different part numbers representing manufacturers including Parker, Anchor Fluid Power, Dixon, HoseMaster and a host of others. Shamrock is equally proud of its premier customer service, deep expertise for technical support and ability to locate hard-to-find parts.
